CHETEK, Wis. -- The unloading and building of a new playground at Roselawn Elementary School in Chetek began Wednesday, August 9 with help from community volunteers. A dozen Sterling Bank employees were among those who helped put together the new equipment.

The main playground will feature a modular structure that has slides, climbers, decks, things for children to hang on and a bridge. There is also a piece of equipment called a play web that is going in there as well. The play surfaces are beubg upgraded to be safer. There will be sandboxes added with “diggables” and shade structures.

Lee Recreation, of Cambridge, designed the new playground and is assisting with the build.
